JD Hoffman Earthmoving cc was established in 2003, but the Hoffman family has been associated with plant hire and earthmoving since 1947. The company is still operated by the third generation Hoffmans. The company currently operates from Tarlton in the West Rand, Gauteng. We do however work all over in South Africa and cross border.

JD Hoffman entered the market in 2010 with GPS land levelling , making him the first and only land levelling contractor in South Africa.

JD Hoffman earthmoving cc is also renowned for building dams since the 1940's. The company has been involved with rehabilitation of mines and re-mining. We are well known in the agricultural sector, doing ripping, gravel roads, bush clearing, levelling of fields and building dams. We also do bulk earthmoving with our Bell scrapers which provides a one-machine operation that makes the project very cost effective.
